Van Josselet, CPA
A native of Haskell, Texas, Van Josselet received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Tech University in December of 1974. Upon graduation, Van was employed by Gaskill, Pharis & Pharis, P.C. in January of 1975 and became a shareholder of Gaskill, Pharis & Pharis, L.L.P. on September 1, 1980. Van has served the community of Dalhart in the following capacities; Board of Directors of the Dalhart Area Chamber of Commerce, the XIT Museum, the Dalhart Country Club, Meals On Wheels, The Dalhart Area Child Care Center as well as Treasurer of the Dalhart Lions Club and the Dalhart Rotary Club. Van was also an original Director and the first President of the Dalhart Community Theatre as well as being elected to the Board of Trustees of Dalhart Independent School District. As a member of the Central United Methodist Church, he has served on the Finance Committee, Pre-School Board, Chairman of the Education Committee, Administrative Board and Council on Ministries.


Ed Hopkins, CPA
A native of Wichita Falls, Texas, Ed attended the University of North Texas and received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a major concentration in banking and finance in 1973. Ed served as member of the U.S. Army infantry. Prior to his association with Gaskill, Pharis & Pharis, L.L.P., Ed was an insurance Auditor for 1 1/2 years with Reliance Insurance in Dallas, Texas, as Audit Office Manager for 4 years with the Comptroller of Public Accounts, Odessa, Texas, Senior Accountant for 1 1/2 years for Elms, Farris & Co., C.P.A.'s, Odessa, Texas and Manager for 1 1/2 years for Arthur Anderson & Co., C.P.A.'s, Dallas, Texas. He was employed by Gaskill, Pharis & Pharis, L.L.P. in 1982 and became a principal in the corporation in 1986. In the Dalhart Community has or is serving as: Councilman, City of Dalhart, Director, Dallam-Hartley County United Fund, Treasurer of the Dalhart Country Club, Treasurer and Vice-President of the Dalhart Area Chamber of Commerce and President of the Dalhart Lions Club. Ed is a member and has served as Treasurer of the First Christian Church in Dalhart and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Professionally, Ed has served as a member of the State Taxation Committee of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.


Lee Moore, CPA
A native of Canyon, Texas, Lee attended Texas Tech University and West Texas State University from which he received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting in 1981. Prior to his association with Gaskill, Pharis & Pharis, L.L.P., Lee was an accountant and partner in Craig Fuller & Associates in Dalhart for 13 years and was Controller for Frontier Fuel Co. in Dalhart for 3 years. In the Dalhart Community, Lee has served as Treasurer of the Dalhart Area Chamber of Commerce and President of the Dalhart Lions Club as well as the Treasurer of the Dalhart Area Child Care Center and is currently serving as Treasurer of the Dallam-Hartley County United Fund. Lee is a member of People's Church in Dalhart and has served the Church as Treasurer for many years.


Chad Miller, CPA
A native of Boise City, Oklahoma, Chad received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a major in accounting in May of 1996 from West Texas A&M University. He joined Gaskill, Pharis & Pharis, L.L.P. in June, 1996 and became a partner on August 1, 2001. Chad has served on the Board of Directors of the Dalhart Lions Club and he is currently serving on the Board of Directors for Dalhart Meals on Wheels and the Dalhart Area Child Care Center.
